A functional specification (also, functional spec, specs, functional specifications document (FSD), provide details of the operation, functionality, and deliverables for a project. Functional specifications (functional specs), are basically the blueprint for how you want a particular web project or application to look and work. It details what the finished product will do, how a user will interact with it, and what it will look like.
The benefits of having an FDS before starting development are numerous. Time, resources, and most importantly, money are all saved when everyone involved in designing, developing, testing, and approving of an application have signed-off on a document containing an organized list of all design and functional requirements.
NMG is experienced in a variety of different styles of writing functional specifications. Our professionals are accustomed with user-interface issues and web design, familiar enough with technology to know its limitations and capabilities. While writing a functional spec, our expert team spends much of their time imagining how a user might use a certain feature and how they may navigate their way through the information. Not only do we write out in great detail; but also balance everything within the current technological limitations and business demands. work with our clients in a truly collaborative way to share knowledge, explore opportunities and define the solution together.
Our functional specification (also, functional spec, specs, functional specifications document (FSD), saves your time and productivity during the development stage because the programmers can program instead of also working out the logic of the user-experience. It enables you to manage the expectations of your clients or management, as they will know exactly what to expect.
